National/Council/District dues are invoiced and paid annually through Scoutbook. Pack dues are separately invoiced to each family directly for the total amount of dues owed, less any Popcorn discount. You can expect to see an invoice at the beginning of September and will adjust after popcorn fundraising is complete.
No. The Pack leadership determined that the cost to support a second Scout from the same family is no different than the first Scout. We have made dues the same for all Scouts
Our Regional Council is passing along some of the sales discount incentives on a per Scout basis. We've decided to adopt this approach, so individual Scouts must sell the target amount of popcorn to qualify for dues reduction. Please note that discount incentives are done on a per-account basis so please ensure that if you have multiple scouts that they use different accounts.
Yes. The online registration fees go directly to the National Scout organization. Pack 80 sees none of this money. You will be invoiced directly by Pack 80's treasurer for the Pack and Region's portion of dues, less any popcorn selling discount.
Each Scout will need a Class A uniform, patches, slide, neckerchief belt and book from their rank, when purchased new this costs ~$75 (depending upon the scouts rank). The Class A shirt is used for multiple years.
Additionally the pack encourages scouts to donate the past years Class A uniforms for use for future scouts. The pack will bring any available uniforms and items to the August welcome picnic.
Each Scout can purchase a Class B shirt upon registration (t-shirt) for $15, contact you den leader for more details.
